Job Description 

We are looking for service technicians with a comprehensive understanding of commercial truck and trailer mechanics.  Service technicians need to be capable of working on heavy duty brake systems, suspension systems, drivetrain systems, and mobile hydraulic systems.  A positive attitude and ability to have constructive interactions with customers and coworkers is mandatory. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Diagnosing vehicle faults manually or with the aid of software and digital tools.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty vehicle parts.
  • Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance.
  • Updating vehicle service records.
  • Installing and fitting new vehicle accessories.
  • Maintaining a record of parts used in the course of a repair.
  • Using a computer to clock on-and-off job work orders.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
  • Fabrication for the installation of specialized mobile equipment.
  • General ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., commercial trucks, forklifts)

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Driver’s licenses are required.
  • General welding skills are preferred.
  • ASE certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of the principles of commercial vehicle mechanics.
  • Working knowledge of repair tools and machinery.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills are necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

Parts Salesperson – Truck And Trailer Parts Salesperson – Sales Associate – Parts Sales Associate – Sales Representative

Job Description 

The primary function of this position is to assist customers and service technicians with selecting the proper parts for repairing commercial trucks and trailers.  The ability to conduct transactions, collect money, and have positive customer service interactions is necessary. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Interact with new and existing customers via face-to-face, phone, and email interactions to provide a value-added level of service so that the customer has a positive buying experience.
  • Communicating with customers before and after a sale to provide product technical support and ease of product acquisition.
  • Present a reasonable level of salesmanship to persuade customers to buy new products, services, or change their supply chain to include our company.
  • Processing sales transactions on database software and operating the cash register.
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns.
  • Handling customer returns such as new products, core returns, and warranty returns per company policy.
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers.
  • Study industry material to achieve and maintain a current technical understanding of the products the company carries.

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Driver’s licenses are required.

  • Ability to sell products and services.
  • Excellent verbal communication and product presentation skills. 
  • Strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective and existing customers.

Warehouse Operator – Warehouse And Delivery Worker

Job Description 

Our warehouse team maintains warehouse organization, inventory control, and inventory records.  Also, workers are required to load and unload freight via forklift and manual moving equipment.  Pick-up and delivery are core duties for this position.  A positive attitude and ability to have constructive interactions with customers and coworkers is mandatory. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Retrieving parts from warehouses for customers, sales department, and service department as well as delivering to customers.
  • Shipping and receiving, ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
  • Forklift operation will be necessary.
  • Taking responsibility for the company’s freight and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at work.
  • Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Manager or Supervisors.
  • Keeping the warehouse environment clean, organized, and maintaining equipment.
  • Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
  • Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
  • Assisting with warehouse inventory count, which involves using a hand-held scanner and basic computer skills.
  • Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times.
  • Assisting in the production of products such as kitting parts, assembling hoses, and assembling cables should be expected.  Experience in any of these categories is a plus and should be mentioned.

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Driver’s licenses are required as pick-up and delivery is a central function for this position.
  • Physical strength, fitness, and dexterity, as warehouse workers often must lift heavy packages and travel up and down stairs frequently.
  • Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of the warehouse team and broader company team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs, such as warehouse inventory management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods.
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, and overall good attitude. These are required.
  • The ability to work effectively and consistently without constant supervision or orders.
